What to do in New York City when it Rains .... this is what we did
I cant believe that last time I was in New York was almost a decade ago. But this time I went with my daughter for spring break. Well.... in reality ..... this spring has been pretty crummy and before leaving Pittsburgh on the way I had to clean of 2 inches of snow of my car.
But we already had picked out some fun things to see and visit and hoped for some breaks in the rainy chilly weather to make this trip fun.
We stayed in a lovely AirBnB in Brooklyn and were right by the subway station so took the train into Manhattan every day.
So here are the top spots we wanted to visit ( and visited)
We lucked out in the morning to cross the Brooklyn Bridge before rain started. and event with chill in the air the bridge was quite busy, but definitely worth the walk across. (Pouring rain started pretty much as soon as we entered the city and ended up buying umbrella and rain poncho)
Besides the architectural art of museum itself, seeing some awesome art during a rainy day was perfect
After Guggenheim we took a cab ride to
Desert heaven, and got to sit right at the table where movie (Serendipity ) was filmed
